Today’s pattern is “Satin Doll”. This is square number 16 of the Stardust Melodies Crochet Along series.

I’ve marked this pattern as an “advanced” skill level. It can be a little tricky. Mostly the tricky part is in understanding where I want you to place stitches. Isn’t that always the tricky part though? So, for this pattern, make sure you keep the video tutorial link handy (it can be found on page 1 of the pattern) so you can see me demonstrate rounds 3 through 6. Once you get the idea, it will be a piece of cake.
Another thing about this pattern… blocking. I hope you’re already blocking your squares. The tension in this one gets all messed up. If you’re not blocking, you may want to at least give this one a quick stretch and maybe even a good misting and let it dry while pinned to get it into shape before joining. Good luck!
This square is an eBook exclusive as is the accompanying video tutorial. If you purchased the Stardust Melodies eBook you’ll received an update with a printable PDF version of the pattern and the chart that is exclusive to the eBook.
If you have yet to purchase the eBook you can get it in my Ravelry store for with a $3 discount with coupon code “stardust” through the end of the CAL, August 14, 2017, or click here to buy now.
That’s it for now. I hope you enjoy this one and it doesn’t drive you crazy. Have I scared you yet? I hope not. I’m usually way off base with which patterns I think are going to be the difficult ones. Good luck anyway.
