First off, I just have to say how impressed I am with all of your hard work! So many of you blasted through both side 2 and side 3 already (don’t worry if you haven’t, it’s not a race!). But more importantly, so many of you tackled the join-as-you-go I made up just for this pattern and conquered it! I know it was a bit of a challenge, but you did it! Go you!!
Now, we’ve just got one side left to make and we’re making it this week. Much of this is the same, it’s really just the final row where we attach our side 4 to our side 1 that is different.
For the final join I used a more familiar join-as-you-go technique that you might recognize, often called a “hook out” method.
If you need some help, remember that the video tutorial is completely free and you’ll find it below.
There’s also the premium pattern PDF which contains photo tutorials for all the joins. It’s just $3USD and helps me keep more patterns coming to you! And, I can’t wait to show you what else I’ve got in store.

[Dc in each of next 2 sts, join to top of st of the next row of side 1, fpedc around next bpedc, dc in next st, join to top of st of the next row of side 1] repeat across until just 4 sts remain unworked.
Dc in each of next 2 sts, join to top of st of the next row of side 1.

Fasten off.
Simple enough, right? Well, I hope so anyway! Enjoy the journey. Have fun with it. And don’t worry if your square wants to be… not square. That’s normal any time you’re working rows diagonally. Next week the border will help a ton! I promise.
